So anytime I mention a fun but, sorta of different activity we should participate in, all I here is, "What? That must be a Springville thing?", "Just because they do that in Springville, it doesn't mean it's cool." blah blah blah. Well, I am pretty positive that ice blocking is not just a Springville thing, AND it is an activity that everyone can enjoy! Yesterday, Braeden, Alisha, Brittnie, Dan, Cameron, and I went to a park to eat tin foil dinners. This park happened to have a fairly good sized hill, so we (Alisha and I) thought it would be fun to participate in the sport of ice blocking. Though, this may sound pretty self explanatory, there is a technique that can make it much more enjoyable! haha Really, all you need are a couple of ice blocks, that can be purchased at most gas stations, and some towels. Fold up your towel, set it on the ice block, sit on your ice block, slide down the hill and have the time of your life!
Here are some photos!
Mine and Cameron's attempt at a train...
The end of our train...
Cameron going backwards and forwards!
Dan, being Dan... He also tried to go down the hill standing up... he may have a severely bruised tailbone now...

Alisha's perfect form and Braeden's not so perfect form.
Our wet/muddy butts! (Mom, how do I get grass stains out of my pants??)
If you haven't gone ice blocking I highly recommend it!

Spray and Wash Stain Stick. I don't think springville had even heard of Ice Blocking until we moved there. (You need to ask Jeff about surgical tubing squirt guns.)
Looks like fun... maybe I'll try that today and see if it sends me into labor!
"Springville thing" that's funny! Love ice blocking, but it's been so long. We're going for YW's in a few weeks and i'm excited!
Greg always says "It must be a UT thing" when I make crazy suggestions! You guys are so fun and wild and crazy. I'm pretty sure I would have broken something if I had done that!
That was way fun! We are going to find a bigger hill for next time though! Yea I was going to tell you to use spray and wash spray or I'm sure the stick works just the same!
It's definitely not just a Springville thing. We did it in Layton. It is AWESOME though!! Looks like fun!
At least I include the entire state when it comes to weirdness that occurs withing its borders. Cam, I know you love to hear it but it's time for a haircut. Your only a hemp necklace away from being a hippie. Seriously, you're on your way to becoming the Mr. Rosso of the nursing profession. Give me a call an will get some FIFA in.
